Here it is! Well, not really - we can't show you all the amazing things we came up with for the Inspiration to Reality Challenge just yet, BUT - I did snap a few photos of all the lovely ladies hard at work. Here we have Sara from Griffin-vites overseeing Brea (of Brea McDonald Photography) as she shoots the amazing stationary suite that Sara created especially for our shoot. Making sure all of the elements are covered for the video, Meg of Meg Simone Videography is getting all the action on tape. In the background is Meagan of Maine Season's Events double checking every last little detail. Check out that camper in the background. Meagan restored that little beauty - and when we heard the story of what it looked like before, we were even more amazed.

A truly inspirational way to share a sunny Sunday in Maine. I can hardly wait to see what Brea and Meg do to show off all the vendors hard work.

Cailin and John live across the pond and had their nuptials at the White Elephant this fall. I was so excited when Cailin told me her color pallete. A rich, fall-inspired look with burnt oranges, eggplant, and burgundy.

You can see from this photo that Cailin decided to carry a lush, colorful bouquet down the aisle. The colors contrasted perfectly with her dress. Don't you just love the colored heels she wore!



The ceremony took place outside under a nature inspired trellis. Using items that are in season can really add to your look. Trying to do this in the middle of summer just would not have worked. How in love are these two? The emotion on Cailin's face is so touching.


This next photo is one of my favorite's of the season - the light is amazing. Claudia Kronenberg was the brilliant photographer behind these images, and she always captures just the right moments. Thanks for sharing these with us Claudia, and thank you Cailin and John for letting us be a part of your special day!

Today, Style Me Pretty announced their next 'From Inspiration to Reality' design challenge. We have been asked to be a part of this fun, creative challenge with some phenomenal wedding vendors. We find out tomorrow what our board is, and then have one week to turn it in to reality. We'll be up in Maine shooting this on November 29th. Check back to see the results! We can't wait to get started and look forward to working with all the amazing vendors involved.

...everywhere. For me, it could be looking at all the store windows on Madison Avenue, taking a stroll on the beaches of Nantucket, reading a restaurant's menu - you get the idea. A few weekends ago some friends and I ended up on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. People who know me well know that I LOVE desserts, and I have no problem skipping dinner and having something sweet. I put this inspiration board together from our walk around the area. What do I see when I look at this? A color scheme of ivory, cream, wheat, and eggplant. Mismatched containers on the table filled with garden roses, tree peonies, peris japonica, schwarzwalder callas and Charlie Brown orchids. Gold crackle chargers, amber glassware, eggplant ribbon wrapped around a napkin with an acorn for embellishment. All the makings for a great tablescape. What would you dream up?
